St. Louis
Sam is 10 months and one week old today, he is growing up so
fast!
-Still army crawling, he is getting really fast. We watch
him chase Ruby upstairs almost every night now.
-Lots of waves still, his new thing is pointing and peacing
(two fingers).
-Lots of distinct ‘byes/bye-byes’ and ‘Mommy/Daddy’ coming
out pretty regularly. Lots of them are still on a few second delay
-Standing has gotten a lot better this last week, still
needs something to lean on
-Throwing. Everything.
Bonnie had the day off today and brought him in to school
for lunch, it was really fun. Made the mistake of carrying him in the hall
during a passing period, we got rushed pretty hard by the 6th
graders. Sam just waved at them and smiled.
Loving the new camera I got for birthday but somehow deleted
all of the pics from Bonnie/Emery’s birthday last week. Most of these pics are
from our trip to St. Louis last weekend..

Indiana
Great to be back in the Hoosier state! It was nice having a few weeks off work together after the move. Bonnie has been back to work for a week now and really likes it, I start in 3 days at Lincoln. Sam is changing every day, at 8.5 months here are a few things going on..
-Teething! First white spike emerged about 2 weeks ago,
others are on the way. Two nights ago was probably his worst sleeping night
since the hospital.
-Yesterday he started throwing his hands up in the air. Not
sure what it means but we love it. Working on waving, has done it a few times
-Crawling is getting faster but still army style
-Has started pulling himself up more, our next purchase will
be a leather ottoman for more practice. Can stand up with a little support but
his huge head makes it harder to balance
-Eating- Loves every food. And he eats a ton. Bangs the
table when he wants more (see youtube). Sweet potatoes, green beans, avocado,
black beans, broccoli, carrots, wild turkey (guess where that came from?),
cheerios, bananas come to mind, I’m sure there has been more
-Swimming- Loves the pool. Got him a float the other day
that he is warming up to
-Sleeping- Still doing good overall considering the
teething. Pretty much have him down to a two nap a day routine, probably
averages sleeping from 9 pm to 8 am but that varies a bit
Lots more going on I’ll add as many captions as I can.
Pictures will go back to Atlanta, I'll try to throw some captions up on most
