3 Months

Sam is 3 months old today, crazy! Bonnie went back to work yesterday and today was Katie's first day coming to watch Sam, everything seemed to go well. Bonnie's schedule is scaled back to 32 hours so that is good. The schedule ended up being a huge blessing as our basketball season ended last week so I am able to get home at a pretty decent time on days Bon works late. We love our big guy so much and are having a blast with him, here are some pics!

3 months old today!
May be time to go hat shopping
Sam is never quite sure about bath time, never really smiles or fusses, it cracks us up every time
Huge win at Michigan State tonight, their first since Sams parents were in Kindergarten
Sam starting to like laying on his stomach (for a bit anyway), his neck is getting STRONG
Went to watch Purdue game at the Wells house on Saturday
Loves checking himself out in the mirror, takes after one of his uncles
Been showing off his laugh more of late, always makes us laugh
Sticking with a chapter a night in Narnia, on Horse and his Boy now
The boy loves sleeping with something soft on his face, starting to like peek-a-boo too
Mom made a shirt for Dad's last home game
Senior night was packed and we beat the team that won our region and region tournament. Can you pick me and Bonnie out?
Seniors
Coolin
He is really growing, 14.5 pounds now, and you can (sort of) see here the hair coming in up top
Valentine's Day! Bonnie made homemade enchiladas and surprised me with a living room cruise

2 Months

Sorry, overdue for an update here. Sam will be 10 weeks old here in a few days. He had his big 2 month appointment on Thursday and did great with all of his shots. He is 24.5 inches (96th percentile), 13 pounds (67th), and a 99th percentile noggin! He is on a pretty consistent eating schedule with Bon and is doing good sleeping too, after his 10:00 feed he makes it anywhere between 3 and 5:30 am. We love our little dude, he has been quite interactive lately and we heard his first laugh the other night that cracked us up! He is a character.

We spent almost a full two weeks up in Indiana for Christmas, had an awesome time. We have been back in Atlanta for three weeks now from the break, which means three more weeks of basketball season and till Bon goes back to work. It is really a blessing that those dates synched up so well.

Not even sure where to start with Sam's updates, so I'll just upload a bunch of pictures that would probably earn an F on a Timeline grade and go from there.

Mom can always get a smile

Big win over Blessed Trinity on his 2 month BDay

Duck face!

He loved the retro hoodie, it was Ben's when he was a baby

Went out to see the Taylor's new puppy, a 9 week baby hanging out with a 6 week puppy was pretty outstanding
Will be a sad day when Sam outgrows the football hold, he is getting harder to hold as he gets stronger

Bath time after his 7 pm feed, he always has a pretty hilarious nonchalant look. Also funny how the bath already looks to small for him
Valentine's Day pose

Playing Simon Says

Snuggle Bunny also getting filled up when he stretches out

Loves looking in the mirror at himself

Sam and Grandpa Mike at Christmas

Action shot of the Jello shooters bouncing all over the table

Hannah gave Sam a great bath

Uncle Adam and Aunt Casie sent the coolest shoes, a bit big but still love them!

We have had basketball practice before school, which is nice b/c I am home by 4:30 on non gamedays, which can tend to turn into afternoon naps

Hilarious range of emotions

Em and Sam

1 month old, no big deal to me!

Had fun going to see the girls over break

Sam's bath in the Turkey roaster

Girls were busy one day

Sam's first 'blizzard!' Ended up not being as bad as the forecast, was still fun getting 5 or 6 inches the day after Christmas
